Introductory Rock Climbing Course

Activity Description

A short walk takes us up to the natural crags, we find a comfortable shady spot to start our climbing instruction, beginning with basic rope work, knots, climbing equipment, safety, belaying and climbing techniques. The course involves top rope climbing, the perfect way to get to grips with the rock.

We concentrate on discovering your natural ability to climb. By the end of the day you should be confident enough to tackle routes in a climbing gym or belay a partner with competence. You’ll be able to relax during lunch before taking another crack at the crags, a leisurely walk back to the cars rounds off the day.

This is an adventure suitable for anyone wanting to get outdoors and experiment with the sport of rock climbing.
